Sharing Our Stories and Our Gifts in 2010As many of you heard on Sunday, Sept. 20, in the provost’s sermon and in Tom Manche’s remarks (click here to read or hear them at “On the Table,” the
Cathedral Blog), we turned this year’s Stewardship Program into an opportunity for all Cathedral parishioners to come together in face-to-face, small-group gatherings called
Sharing Our Stories, Sharing Our Gifts.Sunday, Nov. 1, was Ingathering Sunday, which followed these small-group Stewardship meetings in people’s homes. In those gatherings of fellowship, we asked each of you to pray, talk with those with whom you make decisions, and then help each other have the faith to pledge time, talent and money.
To begin formulating the budget for 2010, the Cathedral needs everyone’s pledges now. Take the time to pledge what God instills in your heart. Then mail the pledge forms you received in the mail or at our series of Stewardship gatherings. Or pledge online by clicking on
Christ Church Cathedral 2010 Pledge Form.
Members of Chapter and the clergy are always available to discuss your questions and concerns regarding stewardship. For information, please call the Cathedral office at (314) 231-3454.

Is there a Schnucks eScrip Community Card in your wallet? If not, there should be! Christ Church Cathedral has enrolled in the eScrip fundraising program, and Schnucks is one of St. Louis’s participating retailers. Schnucks will donate up to 3 percent of your grocery bill to the Cathedral every time you use your Schnucks Community Card.
The Schnucks eScrip Community Card is free. Pick up a card at your local Schnucks supermarket service desk and then call the 1-800 number to activate your card—or go online to
eScrip, where you can also discover how using your Macy’s card in store or online can help the Catherdal as well.
