Special Educational Events Throughout the YearWatch the weekly electronic
Wednesday Weekly and the monthly newsletter for details of special classes and events. One such special educational series is
Back to Basics.

Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010,
Back to Basics, a series of five-week courses, will give us a foundation for the faith we live together at Christ Church Cathedral. It’s not an indoctrination but a chance to roll up our sleeves, learn, discuss and apply the core pieces of who we are as Christians and Episcopalians.
These classes are important—and so we ask a commitment to attend all five weeks of a class. The courses are being offered in an ongoing rotation, so if you can’t commit to all five, you’ll know that the classes will come around again. Most classes will be held on Wednesday evenings at the Cathedral, with a light supper at 6:30 p.m., class from 7 to 8:15 p.m. and Compline at the session’s close. (
Note: Basic Anglicanism II will be held on Sunday afternoons, with the time to be announced.) There will be a fee to cover food and class materials. Childcare will be provided if needed.
Registration for all classes is open: Just email Provost Mike Kinman at
mkinman@gmail.com and specify which class(es) you are attending.
